HSSC Herding Instinct Workshop

The HSSC hosted a Herding Instinct Workshop in conjunction with Susane Hoffman from Sheepy Corner Farm. There were eight Standard Schnauzers who came out to test out their instinct for herding. The dogs showed varying degrees of instinct and drive for the sheep, but it is safe to say that a good time was had by all! Look for an article with more details in an upcoming Heartbeat Newsletter. The event was a great success. If you didn't get to participate this time and are interested in a future opportunity, let an HSSC Board member know! Maybe next time we can hold the event in warmer weather!
